MAIL-OUT CLOSINGS
If you are unable to come to Pensacola for your closing, we will be happy to express mail the documents to you. Probably one-third of our closings are handled in this manner.
No closing provides more of a challenge or a greater opportunity for error than a mail-out closing. Because the closing agent is not present to ensure that all documents are properly executed, it is all too easy for something to be missed. Also, if the closer has made an error or omission or failed to give explicit instructions, corrected documents will have to be sent out and re-signed, causing costly delays. In most instances that involve a mortgage loan for an out-of-town buyer, the entire lender package will have to be re-dated and re-executed.
